Charlie, you gonna like it. For the price a pro grade tool. I've played around with the reflective tape and the trick seems, as someone pointed out in the original thread, that anything bright against a dark uniform background will trigger it fine. Their supplied reflective tape, two strips about 6" long, seems to work the best against a normal (rust, crud, etc) background, but you can cut a slice about 1/16" and it works, so you don't need much. I have a big cardboard box in the attic of scrap reflective adhesive backed stuff they use on highway signs I picked up from a city sign shop about 25 years ago. We used to use little strips of it on cane poles to find our duck blinds before daylight using a flashlight. So I'll dig some of that out too, but you can buy 3M reflective tape at most hardware stores when (if) you run out of the supplied tape.
