Well letting some Wilma stuff just stay there I went out fishing Sat and Sun out 76 nautical miles. Nice to get away but still lousy water out for 40 miles. Hardly caught any live bait but a good Snapper bite on a wreck in 186 feet. Big Vermillions to 17". 21 between 15"-17". Can't complain. Boat ran swell even with a crab trap rope (noticed when I came back up on the lift)on the port strut to prop area. Never even noticed it for alomost 200 miles round trip. Boy what we do to go fishing. Also seemed like my starboard engine was a little louder than normal. Not much but a little. The oil filler cap came off. No effect on the diesels. No loss of oil to speak of and I found it very close to it's home.Nice to run the boat without the regret of not having a generator for the AC. Microwave and refigerator work just dandy on the 1500 W inverter. I can't believe how cold that Walmart $44.95 made in Korea freg is. My grapefruit was just about frozen. Seen an intersting sight on the way back in by shore near Sanibel Lighthouse . A what looked like a completely restored to original 31 Bertram sedan cruising at what looked like 30 knots. Had a a nice union Jack flying on the stern. Now back to reality and life support at the salt mine.Tight lines gang... Dave K
