Almost got away with it

So its 60-70 degrees all this week. I've got the new half tower goin on as soon as I can get the topside painted but no later than tommorow (Monday 11-7). So I take 12 days and get all the glass work work done including 1 coat of 545 rolled on then sanded and 2 coats of Awlgrip D8009 rolled and tipped.
The big day is yesterday Saturday (this is all taking place in Pt. Pleasant NJ so weather is key)_70 degrees and gorgeous I get the top sides blocked out with 400 grit and nail the last coat of finish with a light touch of X-98 (accelerator-but not enough to flatten it out) and this thing comes out the sweet (I mean you couldn't spray it nicer) its all done by 11:30am.
Then it happens by 6:00pm the southwest slows down and the fog rolls in. Needless to say I now have the best looking coat of dead flat Awl-grip ever applied. The boat goes for the hard top on Monday and it looks like the weather will probably not let me finish the paint job till spring-time (well at least it'll have a good base).
Morale of the story is don't trust Mother Nature, no matter what NOAA says..... 54 degree dewpoint my ass...
Its times like this you smile nod and chalk up the experience cause in the end its all good.
