Dave, I agree with Walter. I have an old Rock-a-way that is all aluminum - even the bolts that hold it together. It is the type where the back folds away from action, rather than being removed. Not nearly as heavy as yours, so I'm keeping it in the boat, but modernizing it a bit. Have a teak seat and armrests on it, working on striking rod holders on the sides, and a rocket launcher backrest will be next. Love these old chairs.
