I couldn't get the measurements on those engines as both engines are laying on the side of the hull since the motor mounts broke after the fall. It looks like they can be moved as far forward as you would like and looks like they might be able to be moved back about 6". I still want to go the 10 degree route as the boat will be wide open with lots of room to manuever around. Came across a pair of new 315 Yanmars with 1 to 1 1/2 gears. Any way these can be mounted without building prop pockets? How's the best way to reinforce the stringers for the additional hp? How far along do the stringers need the additional reinforcement? Thanks for the help, Capt Pat. Looks like I'll be able to get something going here in a couple of weeks.
