Tommy Drake has the model codes posted in the archives. The Safe Boating Act of 1972 requires a uniform system of hull numbers to be impressed in the exterior stb. top of the transom on all boats made in the U.S during or after November, 1972. Prior to that it was a haphazard or no system. Clean off the rear top of your fuel tank just behind the fuel pickup and you should find a glassed in typed paper tag with the capacity and date of manufacture which will get you close on the date the boat was made.
