To view the hotel we will stay in a night on both ends of going to TSL, it's www.caesarparkpanama.com. Some of us (me for sure) will get a single room since a few snore so bad, I'll call TSL for those rates) TSL apparently has a deal with them to book us on the VIP floors which gives us access to the VIP lounge on the top floor, a/k/a The Land of Free Whiskey.
My thoughts are to hang out at or near the hotel on the Friday (6-16) that we all arrive in PAC since we will be dribbling in from different directions at different times, and all have to be ready to roll out to the bush plane airport the next morning at 0630. "Hang out" means I don't plan to try to organize anything that day in PAC, but sure open to suggestions. The return trip (we should get back to PAC about noon on Sat. and most will leave Sunday a.m. for the U.S.) maybe we could do a short tour of the city and the Panama Canal (some of us are addicted to watching the canal webcams) then get some local knowledge and reserve a big table at a good funky restaurant for dinner and our usual rowdy UVI awards ceremony. Again, just some thoughts and don't anybody feel like they have to be sheep in Uncle Vic's flock, 'cause as ya'll know, I'll be celebrating my 6th straight victory at the UVI.
Anyway, these ramblings would have been shared at the FLL show, but guess I'm in withdrawals from missing that annual hoot.
