In Response To: Cold Weather Steering Problem? (Vince L.)

I have/had the same problem on my 50. When I bought the boat last winter, I noticed steering fluid leaking out from under the dash. When launched, I had no steering & had to add fluid & pump it up. Just two weeks ago when it got really cold, The same thing happend. It is an o-ring that starts to leak whe it shrinks (god, I hate when that happens). Fill the fluid and get a mini pump for bicycle tires. There will be a fitting on top of the Hynautic tank. Keep it between 20-30 lbs
