new windshield paper

Guys I need advice.
I had a new Cabo style windshield made during my remodle. & now its time to remove the paper.... WOW alot of scratching & still about 1/4 done. That stuff is stuck on there. Any ideas? (Not CX please.)Last idea Im tring is a soap soaked t shirt laying on it all night.
