Tony Athens of boatdiesel.com came up with a clever, near zero cost solution. Think the hose is just half inch heater hose, extend it to the bilge and poke the end into an empty quart oil bottle. He calls it his "budget puke bottle". Works great. Empty the bottle now and then.
