Harv-24kts in 4 foot seas isn't good for those disks. In my insane Boston Whaler days when I thought speed was important, I came down off a wave hard at 30 kts and almost blacked out from the jarring. My spine was never the same. Get well soon and join the cruising speed group who can honestly say "been there, done that"and learnsd from it. At $4.00 a gallon I've got a feeling a lot of people will be slowing down in 2006.
