Pats fine. He stopped by today for a visit.
His land line and electric are out. Main feeder line poles are down in his area. Nextel is questionable during good times let alone bad.
We got an estimate for about 1 to two weeks for my electric to be on.
When they turned on the power feeds here, the pole behind my house caught fire and exploded and dropped live wires about 6 feet from where I was standing. Wife says I jumped about 20 feet in one leap.Good thing I horded 50 gallons of gas a couple of months back. Its 2.60 cent gas at that, I'll need it.
All in all we lucked out again. People much worse off than us.
