Just to talk about something positive, the UVI 6 is now closed. We have 21 guys in with money or in the mail, and that's it. I FedExed a $7,000 check out of the UVI 6 escrow account to TSL's office in Orlando today to reserve our 7 boats and 21 bunks for the week. A few (2 or 3) of the group say they may opt for the short week, the rest are in for the whole week. I suggest the short week guys reconsider, since it's a long way and might as well stay the course for the short money difference. Any short week guys have to decide by about the first of December. Next money call will be right before Christmas so I can gather the cheese by the mid-January deadline for half the money less the $7K deposit, then the rest will be due about March. Ya'll do the math. We are on the rack rate shown on the tropicstar.com website for 2006. My pitch for a discount for B31 lovers got a look, but huge standby overbooking on top of us shot that great idea down. I'll get a "trip organizer" discount of probably 50% and chip that in towards the staggering bar tab. The place is popular. Like the Grosbeak say, "ain't how much it is, it be's how much it be's a month".

I'm waiting for a few deposit checks from guys I know will send it, but if anyone drops out I'll let ya'll know. Not taking waiting list names at this point, and no, you can't sell your spot, after all it is the UVI. . . . .
