Dave,

He'll need a spool gun to feed the aluminum mig wire. The aluminum is way too soft to feed through a long torch hose without jambing up every time the torch is triggered...

If he has the spool gun option on his rig then he can use either 4043 or 5356. He needs to run pure Argon for his shielding gas and any weld spot should be preped by sanding away any anodization. All corrision oxides have to be ground out also.
