Another CX repair

We had 18.5" of rain last week which had me going to my B-20 at least twice a day as where it is has no power supply for a charger. I started up and ran the engine to recharge the batteries after so much bilge pump action.
Today I checked out all my electronics which I had plastic over to see if all was well. Everything was fine except my VHF seemed to go back to Channel 16 whenever I keyed the mike no matter what channel I was on. I took the unit home, dismantled the cover on the mike and the unit itself and sprayed the innards with red CX aerosol. Reassembled, went back to the boat, connected power and antenna and voila! All works as it should! They should make tiny cans we can keep in our toiletry kits! This stuff fixes everything! Walter
