Dave , I would keep the same shaft angle with the stut. If it aint off the hull leave it there, it is 13 to 15 degrees. If you logs arent centered ,dont worry, align engine and trans with shaft then center shaft in log, then glass or bolt down log. If you know all the dimentions of the engine,trans and mounts then you can make a simple jig of it to use to figure engine hight on stringers. Those alumimum mounts are all custom made. Once you have it all drawn out you can make mounts and use jig to adjust stringer height. Then lift engine in ONE time and it fits. Ken
