I'm in Ft. Myers Beach, 20 miles north of Naples. Collier County has just called for evacuations to Livingston Road. They are expecting a storm surge there to 17 feet going several miles inland. Tommorrow morning will be mandatory evacuations. It is mandatory evacuations now for all mobile homes, modular homes and RV's and house boats. Use that website above for the latest details. You should get your boat out of there and inland as far as possible. It's better to be safe than sorry. Now I'm leaving the office to put up my shutters. I did the two most difficult windows last night and I only have 25 more windows and doors to go . Ha!Life's fun. No surge of any size predicated yet for Lee county according to my reliable sources.
