In Response To: Re: Wilma - Cat4/Cat5 (Dug)

Can't fight nature Dug. Nor difficult times. Seems like it comes in spurts. Somebody trying to tell us something. Anyway at least we have a warning. Better than an earthquake. Start charging my batteries on the boat soon as I get home this afternoon and button down the hatches on the house. 27 windows to do and one Bertram 31 to evacuate. Pain in the but like the song says "Staying Alive" "Staying Alive". Hope my new generator starts. I winterized it a year ago after Charlie and hasn't been run since.Lauderdale will be OK as they are on the other side of the storm. Just some nasty winds but still nothing to play around with.Every storm a windsurfer dies here. Too many people have never seen and expierenced the power and destruction of these storms.I'm batting down the hatches ... Dave K
