Steve-My Racors are smaller than yours but I would treat this as if you were changing the filter. It would flush out your dirty bowl, which I would assume you'd like to do. Do not do this with the engine running. Be sure you have a gallon or so of Diesel fuel available in a Jerry can with a spout. Place a bucket or container under the bottom fitting. Turn the shut-off valve between the filter and the engine to the off position so as to keep air from mixing with the fuel to the engine. Remove the top from the filter. Now when you remove the fitting at the bottom of the bowl the fuel will gush out draining the whole unit-water, dirt and fuel. Be careful not to lose any washer, gasket or O ring that may be between the fitting and bowl. Replace the fitting but don't overtighten and risk cracking the bowl. If you don't plan on replacing the filter, just pour in fresh diesel right up to the top. Replace the top, open the shut off valve and start your engine. Make sure you've filled it, let any bubbles subside before you put back the top and open the valve.
Since your filters are much bigger than mine, perhaps you might want to first remove the bottom fitting and then slowly crack the top so the volume of fuel on yours doesn't spurt out as fast and topple your bucket. Once drained, close bottom, fill to top, etc. Walter
