Read in the opening, "MAY".
It hasn't been proven that the fuel attacks the resin causing the tanks to fail.

Someone must have notified them about the fuel problem.
They posted that notice to reduce any liability that they knew something about it and didn't notify its members or public whether there is a real problem or not with the tanks.

Until the testing of the fuel proves it, just check your bilges as normal.
