Bill, sorry to hear what happend.

Thanks for sharing though, I've got a speaker for my hailer in the stateroom closet. I got it 5 years ago when I bought the boat and never got around to mounting it. When I do get around to mounting it I'll keep your story in mind!

Wife says I don't needed, I've got a loud enough mouth. Also, I can think of some times when it's better I didn't have it....
