On my 25B I first painted the engine/bilge areas with one part Interlux poly paint with the cleaning sanding Actone treatment. It peeled and did'nt take a lot to scratch.
Second time around sanded most of the Interlux off, used Awlgrip primer and finish paint and not one single chip! Harsh enviroment maybe you don't have to spend the money for Awlgrip but DO USE a two part paint with primer.
