Crae-
Just got back from the show, and went down to the dock and sat in the Anna E. (boat) with Anna E. (daughter) for awhile. Love my B31 (and my daughter). The new B36 is there.
Good luck with your motors. I have no answers on repowers after looking around today. Its all how much $$ you want to spend. Cat doesn't make anything for our boats, the new Cummins will be real tight, the 6btas are out as of 1/06 (but you can get remans), and Bayshore said the Yannies 6s (didn't ask about the 4s--although that's what I'd probably get) already met the new emissions so they'd be around....looks like if you go diesel you're going Yanmar at least for now. I wouldn't go new gas, that's for sure...close to Yanmar 4s in cost. I also don't think I'd spend $10K on one side for gassers to rebuild--but that's easy to say when its not my money. Can you say "home equity line?" Have fun tomorrow.
I also looked at the B20 Bahia. Neat boat--needs alot. Two 35+ year old boats may not be the right move for me now--probably going to stay as is---but I really liked the B20.
