Dave:
I found on my windows (75 FBC) I have to "Drive out" the wedge piece before I could slide them apart. The "Wedge" pieces are those trim pieces (the flat piece that you see from the inside that has a triangular wedge section behind it) between the front and curved sections. After soaking with CX I drove them out by carefully driving them out the bottom. It took me awhile to figure that one out. Once they were out the curved pieces could be wiggled out the bottom also. The really hard part is getting them back together without scraping off the power coating. Also make sure that the power coater knows not to coat in the groove. I had them prime in there but no finish coat. Power coating is very thick and would make it impossible to put it back together without scarping the coating off. When I put them back together I taped off the outside section and put in liberal amounts of caulking, drove the wedge back in and them cleaned off the excess caulk. Good luck, it is worth it in the end, the boat looks much better and now it says dry inside.
