B20 Bahia Mar

I'm giving serious thought to replacing my 17 Whaler, which is a great boat, with a Bahia Mar 20. The B20 would get a fair amount of use--I'd guess I put about 75-100 hours/season on my whaler. I need some advice on what to look for in a B20. There's a B20 on Yachtworld in Annapolis that I plan on checking out this week.
From what I can tell from reading this board, I should look for transom rot, and saturated foam in the floor. How do you check the foam? Should I assume that if the transom hasn't been redone and the floor pulled up, that the boat will need it? If the floor has to be pulled up, is there a way to save it and make it more like the B31 where it can be pulled up whenever and then put back down? Anything else structurally that's a common problem?
The boat will kept in the water. I've never been a big fan of stern drive--I like outboards for small boats. Anybody know of an o/b conversion on a B20? Not a bracket--seems like it might put too much weight too far aft. But a transom mounted outboard--maybe 150-200 hp--would be lighter than the sterndrive set-up, quicker, and would tilt-up out of the water. I figure if I find one that needs a transom, why not? Sound feasible?
Thanks,
John F.
