1500 watt continuous. It runs fine with engine running on that 8D (I have 3 8D's). The microwave however runs great on the inverter but don't run the engine with it on. It will burn up the alternator regulator if you do. Only problem with the freg is throws a little heat. We don't need any of that down here in Ft. Myers. Dave K
