i haven't tryed -em i am a shimmano user.but i do know of a few that have and use -em and they like -em.but the main problem is getting parts for them is what i was told .not all tavkle repair have parts in stock..you just can not beat a shimmanl tiagra reel and the drag system is out of this world !!!!!!!just my prefrence
