Michael - assume you have push/pull cable steering? If so, take both cables off each end of the system, clamp some small rubber hose over the cable and pump some motor oil inside the cables till it runs out the other end. Also use grease on the rank and pinior behind the steering wheel or the gear box there.

I've used the SeaStar hyd. steering on several boats and it is the best for the B31 in my view. Simple to install, simple to maintain, and hooking up a second station and/or an autopilot is a snap.

Do get the oversize rudders from Capt. Patrick, makes the B31 handle 1,000 times better.
