I have got myself bent out of shape a few times because of that, especially if you take out others and they start to question the steam, and tell you somethings wrong cause it don't happen on their boat.

Temps are correct, nothing overly hot its most likely just your vapor trail, like on them jets. Instead of sky writing you can do it in the water.

Days like that I use start to angle my exhaust flaps because you can see the exhaust
