Jeff,

I think it's Massachuettes that is real lax on their registration laws... Ckeck with Timmy, (Thuddd), about that.

If so, "sell" the boat to someone there, they register it, and then you "buy" it back when you're done with the refit & then register it with Maryland with a Massachuettes background.

A thought...
