You won't be able to slice a fiberglass tube down the side 8, 10" or so then squeeze the tube together.
The very nature of hollow tube is its strength and you would have to cut quite a bit from the "sides" to squeeze the tube down to leave the opposite end a circle.I would just take a section and slice it down both sides and form the size oval you need.
Then glass together.
Once you have the oval formed, I would take the round stock and glass the two sections together giving you something to attach hose to.
Or if you use soft wall hose, it will form into an oval when tightened around your outlets.
The thing with tightening a clamp on an oval is that you have less crush resistance than with a round tube.
