I have a pulpit with a Horizon 600. I like the convenience as well as the look. I fish/pleasure boat in a bay with shallow water and anchor a fair amount, and wouldn't do without it. You need to decide how much you'd use it and why. One of the reasons I put the windlass on and redid the pulpit was because I'd fish with my kids (ages at the time 8 & 6) and it amde bringing the anchor in easy. With adults, someone can stay at the helm while someone else gets the anchor.
