I use a pivoting anchor roller with my electric winch. Wouldn't do without it . Makes anchoring a breeze. The big drawback is you have your anchor sticking our from the bow and like listed on the previous post may cause problems. I have had mine on now for five years now with no problems. Just be careful when you swing from your dock/slip. Only happened to me once when I left early in the morning (not my best time of the day, not fully alert)I dinged it a little but not even a scratch. Tough boats we have. Dave K
