gelcoat spiders

i am fixing to shoot the primer ina week or so and i noticed some spidering in the gelkote ,go i need to grimg and fill those areas or just sand - em down really good anf fair? i will be using a high build epoxy primer, (jet glow aerosspace paint and primer) probabl 3 coats to make it a level and really smooth -before i shoot the paint.....any help ????thanks
