Hey guys, Capt. Brent Roy, here. Just wanted everyone to know that my family and I survived Katrina and Rita. Venice Marina and the entire area, however, was not so fortunate. Lost my prized 21 ft. Reno skiff that my dad(Uncle Vic) gave me. Very sad.....Lost 3 pirogues and a new Go Devil duck boat, all insured thank God. Our lodge is standing but was completely submerged for 17 days along with every other house, camp, lodge, boat, anything in lower Plaquemines Parish. Go to www.plaqueminesparish.com for pics. Thanks to everyone for their concern and phone calls. I am still in the charter business over in Cocodrie, LA south of Houma. I am also in the debris removal biz and have a small seafood transport business. Thanks guys! Capt.
