Well, planning is almost there. I have about 25 guys that have expressed some to solid interest. Our dates are Sat. June 17 through Sat. June 24, 2006. There are two options: (1) the full week, arrive Panama City, Panama on Sat., June 17, spend the night there in a nice hotel, and travel via charter air the next morning to Pinas Bay and then a short boat ride to the lodge, fish Sunday thru Friday, return to PA City on Sat. the 24th. Option 2 is the same as #1, but fish Sunday thru Wednesday and return to PA City on Thursday the 22d. Cost is less for #2. I'm working on a group discount right now, unsure if they will bite. My guess the cost, less tips, for the full week is about 4 big un's vs about 3200 for the short week. Airfare from where yo' ass is to PA City is extra, do your own. As the group organizer I'll get a 50% discount and chip that in for the bar tab at the lodge which is not included in the general rate. We will drink that up in 2 days easy.

I was leaning to the short week, but going that far think I'll stay the whole week. A valid US passport is needed for entry to PA, or for the guys from overseas, check your own embassy for entry requirements.

I know the tariff is steep for some of you, so per a suggestion from one of the Faithful, we may do a lottery type deal - say a c-note a ticket and the lucky winner goes - what ya'll think of that idea?

I'm semi committed for 21 guys and they can take up to about 30. They are to call me back with final rates. You can see all the stuff at their website, tropicstar.com.
