I watched it last week & last night. It takes place here in the States. Seems some sort of alien coccoons (sp?) have been landing in the ocean & they grow to be some sort of crack head amphibious sea creature. The last part of the show was only a minute or two of the 31 down in Australia. I guess it was just to show it is a world wide infestation
