da Judge & me went over to our camp this morning to pick stuff up and a good thing we went early. Water was already over the dock and rising up the back yard. Storm surge in Lake Ponchartrain is above 7 feet and busted the levee on the Industrial Canal again, re-flooding about a thrid of the city.

Raining big time back here in BR, about 3" since mid morning and more coming - weather guessers muttering about 25" of rain since Rita is supposed to stall out over east TX. Good news is the power is still on here.
