Capt. Pat bulkhead?

Capt. Pat I posted earlier in the week about my bahia mar spreading @ the cabin bulkhead. I'm thinking i need to address this issue over the winter. I'd like your advice about getting the hull back to it's original dimensions and your opinion about glassing a new FG bullkhead in place of the laminated wood, which has rotted out in the bilge & split at top of cut out for acess to helm. thus the spreading. she seems to be about 3/4" wider than original.
