I had an all new, aluminum rail made for me in RI for $330 dollars. All welded. One piece. Beautiful. Artwork some would say (me!) I don't have to worry about the damned thing coming apart when I lean on it and then falling overboard anymore. No, that never happened, but it damned well almost did!

For that kind of money, don't bother with the old one (unless you want to buy mine, it is upstairs). I will send you the whole thing.

Just get a new one made! That is my advice!
