Don't think that it'll turn north enough to follow Katrina's track... It's still a bit wobbley and the models have it back in the direction of Corpus Christi & Port O'Connor.

There's a fair amount of dry air throughout central Texas and right to the coast line. Let's hope that that stays in place over the next three days, even moves east by Rita's pull, and helps to mitigate the final punch...

Sure hope all the local Government officials along the Texas coast learned some good lessons by watching Katrina & the "Dynamic Duo", (Gov. Kathleen Blanco & Mayor Nagin).

They're fixin' to be tested...
