A good Diesel mechanic told me "use Marvel Mystery oil" I do at every tank fill. No problems for last 1200 hours. Keeps the injectors clean. Just read carefully and never use too much. Smoke at start up cold is normal for most of the diesels prior to 2000. As long as under normal load you don't get smoke. UV is again right on the money. The best Coonass Engineer I've ever seen...
