Hey guys,

It would appear that those of us in the Morehead City area have escaped without any physical injury. Power, cable and phone were out for me for about 18 hrs. Don't know how Jim Bailey is making out as his marina took a really hard hit. I'm sure that he and his family are OK but not so sure as to the boats in his slips. The Atlantic Beach-Pine Knoll Shores area caught the edge of the eye wall and got slammed. Obviously not like at NO slammed but we had a cat 1 storm that took 8-10 hours to pass. Sucked.I made arrangements to have my boat taken out last Saturday, well, like Mike Ohlstein says, if you want it done, do it your self. Well bottom line is the never took the boat out.Lost the swim platform (anyone got one for sale?) and my jaw hurts from clenching my teeth.Thanks to these hulls, all is OK. Guarantee it's going on the hill tomorrow. Day late and a dollar short...story of my life. Did I mention here that the finger docks separated from the main dock and I had to tie mine back on with dock lines. The good news is that I feel well and have every intention of going to Panama.
