Were going through the same thing right now down here Craig with the Grouper regulations in the Gulf. Longliners are the main culprit for sure. One of my good fishing buddies is an ex-longliner and he is the first to admit that Longliners exhaust the fish population more than anyone. Everything they bring up is dead. They represent 81% of the harvest here in the Gulf while us recreational/Charter people represent only 19% yet we are regulated and cut so easy. More people at the meeting the better. Altough they have their mind made up before the public has an input but give em $%*& doesn't hurt. Good luck and tell everyone you know before we loose our fisheries.
