Bertram Deck/Glasstech Deck goes right in with minimal work, however the framing underneath the deck is another story. Mine being wood was rotted to the point of falling away and needed to be replaced as was the bulkhead in front of the fuel tank.
The work again was not really hard or difficult and did not take much time once I got started, but took a bit more effort. As recommended by a fellow board member, I replaced the wood framing underneath with fiberglass material.
I bought my deck used, as a yard was installing a custom deck and this one was in good shape. I paid 1500. A few hundred for materials and took me about 4 weeks, a couple hours here and there during the week and a bit longer on the weekends. Looking back, it could have been done in a week or less. To just put in a deck I would think it could be done in a day or two depending on what may need tweaking, side panels, supports, shims.
