Well, we are pretty tough people, us coonasses. Me & the Bride go to the camp every Friday and come back on Sunday, it's our way of relaxing. Sitting there at the camp not seeing AJ at the dock is starting to wear on me, guess it's just a sign of the overload we are all feeling after this horrific storm. You are right, she's probably better in a locked building vs. being outside where the grosbeaks can get at her, but every time I tell myself she's fully insured, I know she's not replacable with mere money. Too many memories - a major part of my life is missing, and not knowing just makes it worse.

But, just knowing the Faithful feels my pain makes it better. If I'm anything, I'm a realist.

Now let's think about Pinas Bay and UVI 6 . . . .

BTW - the New Orleans airport is supposed to open for commercail air traffic a week from Tuesday, but no airlines are taking reservations thru the end of Oct. We usually fly from there to FLL for the boat show on SWA, and you guys need to look at southwest.com to see what the pros think the prognosis for N.O. really is. Grim. So making plans for alternate routes out of BR, now the biggest airport in LA. The Bride thinks she may want to come with me this year and experience the FLL show and the Flophouse. Times they change.
