Bernie - I have a SiTex SP 70 pilot that has given me excellent service for going on 13 years, but it won't interface with the new Garmins, or at least my old one won't hook up with my Garmin 2010C. Da Judge researched this to the n'th degree and came up with an inexpensive unit that will interface with his new Garmin 2010C. Can't remember which pilot he got, but loves it. We buy from Sea Trac Offshore in New Orleans, and think their shop is in uptown and did not get flooded, but not sure. Best prices in America and great service. My old SiTex SP 70 will still interface thru the Raytheon 600 plotter I still keep on board, but frankly, with the new Garmin 2010C interfacing is sort of a waste of time, since you can set up the course on the pilot so precisely with the crosstrack on the Garmin you wish for a 1/10th degree pilot vs. a one degree.
