Team Hyena is humbly and respectfully interested for this offers a unique opportunity for a semi-level playing field for second place. Having been handicapped by lesser vessels and captains whose art and skill pales next to the five time winner of the UVI, this event is a solitary light at the end of the tunnel of humiliation which has plagued Team Hyena.

Wonderful idea, but what else is to be expected from UV? I was just mentioning the other day how Uncle Vic's practical good sense and clarity of vision is only exceeded by his charm and wit.

The bad news is our collective disappointment from seeing the 12 Bert 31's down South. Relative to the vision of Another Joy that remains forever burned into my memory, Oh but those other vessels will appear as nothing more than mere shadows reflecting only the possibility of attaining the level of fit and finish so lovingly nurtured and maintained by the valiant Stewart of Another Joy. Only through the inner strength inspired by UV will I be able to suspend the constant impulse to preach the unquestionable virtues of Another Joy and aspire to earn second place down South.

Groveling aside, our alternatives are relatively slim - Grand Is. (big maybe) or Coco or next stop Galveston. Runs progressively longer, and the fishing progressively worse.

Good news is if it were to be held in Galveston, maybe (just maybe), Black Sheep might be able to join us this year.
