I noticed some handling problems when I had my Yanmars installed. I asked about the rudders the end of last season. Capt Patrick and UV gave me some good info.
Needless to say I was reluctant to go for the gold and my yard said they were unnecessary. Having deep pockets or empty pockets at the time I took the yard's advice.
I have the $1,100 tow bill from boat US to show who's was right.
Great tow, 2.5 hours in the dark over a bar in white water at the mouth of Moriches inlet.
I'll be ordering my rudders ASAP.
Fortunately, I have unlimited tow with boat US and was not at the Canyon as I planned.
