My marina DID NOT raise their diesel prices from the $2.59 it had been for the past few weeks. Sine I had already filled Triton II the week before it wasn't an issue.
The bay and inshore waters were pretty well covered in boats on Saturday. Since I lost the starboard engine on the way back that afternoon, I didn't get a look on Sunday or Monday. Sure is fun maneuvering on one screw!
My guess is it was a last Hurrah for those with fuel in their tanks on the holiday weekend. For the time being, people will think harder about the drive to the marina and fueling their boats.
Hope I'm wrong.
